YORKSHIRE 1891 CENSUS
Hello everyone
I am new to this forum and I have a question about the Yorkshire 1891 Census as published by British Data Archives Ltd, which was sent to me recently. I am sure it will be a valuable source of information and expect quite a lot from it.
My ancestors came from Penistone (Thurlston exactly) on my grand-father side, and Felkirk on my grand-mother's. I am completely at loss as to how I find those two parishes among the CD .
I would be most grateful if someonce was kind enough to give me the clue.
Best regards
Paul

1891 census
I don't know anything about the Data Archives disks but the 1891 piece reference for Felkirk is 3765 and for Thurlstone 3785.
Hope this helps

Using British Census Registers
Thank you John for your kind help. I must admitt that I am somewhat at loss, probably since I have never had a copy of the originals in hand.
One thing I have to master is how to find, in the registers of the successive censuses how to locate the various parishes.
I have had a try this evening, but success is still to come. Thank you again for these first indications. I must now learn how to handle the data.
Sincerely
Paul
