Thomas Banks and Sarah Alice Banks marriage 20th August 1938 barnsley
Hi everyone,
This is my very first posting here
I wonder if anyone can help - I am looking for a Michael Banks (born September quarter 1939 in Barnsley), who is the son of Thomas Banks and Sarah Alice (nee Banks). Thomas and Sarah were cousins, and they married at the Register Office in Barnsley on 20th August 1938.
Thomas Banks` occupation at the time was Colliery Haulage hand (below ground), and he lived at 14, Clumber Street, Barnsley.
Sarah Alice Banks (born 7th September 1913 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire), was my Great Aunt, her father was James Henry Banks.
My mum remembers having a cousin called Michael, who lived in Barnsley, and she is eager to make contact with him somehow.
Thank you for reading this,
Karen.
